What to Expect
Your First Acupuncture Treatment
Your first session will most likely create
some powerful openings and inspire a new sense of hope. You
will obtain new, relevant information regarding your condition
from a Chinese perspective, and practical suggestions you can
implement at home to support your healing. I will recommend
a course of treatment that will get your condition firmly on
the road to healing, and you'll have a good sense of the direction
we'll be taking together. It's likely that you'll receive your
first Chinese herbal prescription.
Your first session will last up to 90 minutes.
We'll spend time talking about your current condition, medical
history, diet, exercise, and other lifestyle habits. I'll
do a physical exam, and then you will receive your first acupuncture
or shiatsu treatment. If applicable, I will recommend Chinese
herbs suited to your condition without charging you for that
consultation. Your initial session costs $105.
Please come to your first session with your
new patient paperwork completed (download the paperwork here).
Bring the bottles of all medications, vitamins and other supplements
you are currently taking. If possible, refrain from wearing
makeup and perfume.
Follow-Up Acupuncture
Treatments
Subsequent treatments build upon each other, creating a strong
momentum for your healing. I recommend that you receive 1
session per week for 3-4-6 weeks after your initial session.
You will become healthier and healthier, and you will begin
to forget about the symptoms that plagued you in the beginning.
Once you've reached your health goals, I
recommend you receive one session a month, or at a minimum
one session a season, to maintain your good health.
Follow up sessions last approximately 1
hour and cost $75.

Shiatsu Treatments
Treatments are booked for 60 minutes ($75) or 90 minutes ($105).
Herbal Constultations
The first consultation lasts 60 minutes ($75). Follow up consultations
last 30 minutes ($37).
Cupping Treatments
Treatments last up to 60 minutes ($75).
